Bud’s Friends Animal Sanctuary cares for handicapped, disabled or senior dogs, while trying to place them in loving homes. Located in Upstate South Carolina, our sanctuary relies entirely on donations, which are CRITICAL in our efforts to save animals from euthanasia, abuse, neglect, and overpopulation.

Our passions are the disabled and senior animals –the ones that are discarded because they are not able to chase the ball or run and play like younger dogs; those who have become a ‘burden’ because they to fail to let their owners know they need to go out; or those who are blind and require a little extra time to be cared for, after all their years of faithful service to their owners.

Mission:
• provide shelter, care and medical attention for homeless animals

• provide homeless animals with a new permanent home

• prevent abuse, misuse and killing of domestic animals

Our Main Concern is the Welfare of the Animals.

Our best example is BUD. A 9-month-old Sheppard mix, Bud needed to be put down because the owner tried to deliver him and when he got stuck coming out they damaged his spine. Well come by and see BUD now!  Watch him run, play, roll and his Bud spin when he gets there! But don’t say “OH! Poor Bud.” Bud has the heart of a Lion and legs of steel.

Plus, Bud is the self appointed small animal caretaker here at Bud’s Friends and Adoption.  He watches and cares for all the puppies.
